Circus Kumarani is proud to present the 14th Annual Northland Circus Festival of 2020 on the 10th, 11th and 12th of January 2020. New Venue, This year we will be in the beautiful community of Paparoa at the War Memorial Hall and A&P Show grounds!!

From ground to Aerial skills, for beginners to advanced levels, this festival is for EVERYONE!

Tobias Miller - NCF 2020
As an ex gymnast/gymnastics coach I have over a decade of teaching experience. My enjoyment ... of circus started as a 7yr old with a diabolo and has grown into a love for many forms of juggling and aerial apparatus. Over the last few years I have been in the States teaching circus at a summer camp. Lastly this year I started teaching circus to all ages and abilities as a vocation.

My name is Vivienne Cosner. After attending my first Northland Circus Festival in 2018... I felt heavily inspired to take the cirque pathway in life in which I feel most comfortable, happy, and at home. I started out as a gymnast and since then have been working on handbalance and contortion. My biggest goal is to live my dream doing what I love most and inspiring others to do the same no matter age or level.

Boomtown Okrabats - NCF 2020
The Boomtown Okrabats are a Wellington based contemporary circus duo specialising in duo-trapeze... and partner acrobatics. They have been performing together for the past 4 years and have recently returned from a residency at Escola Nacional de Circo in Rio de Janeiro. They have a passion for combining dynamic technical skills with character and movement in order to create unique and entertaining circus.

Camping

We will be providing basic camping at the festival for $10 per night per person. There will be toilets, warm showers and a BBQ area too. Limited open hours for the kitchen and bring own cookware. The camping area is only 20 meters from all the circus fun.

There are plenty of places to stay in Paparoa if you're not into camping. Here are a couple of them.
