These school holidays Dargaville youth aged 8-18 get that chance with this FREE school holiday programme!
With a mixture of circus skills, games and activities each day, youth can learn at their own pace and our skilled instructors are great at teaching both tricks and confidence!
We will work on creating individual/group routines as part of the holiday program.
Youth will perform these in our 1pm Friday Whanau Show (at the end of the week) to show off their skills to friends and family.
Classes run 10-2pm each weekday
BYO drink bottle & lunch.

Christmas cheer is taking over the CBD!
Find Circus Kumarani on the 19th Dec 12 - 2pm next to the gift wrapping station bringing the community Christmas/Circus Cheer to keep your spirits high.
The Christmas Community Pop-Up from 16 – 21 December offers gift wrapping services for anyone buying presents in the CBD in the month of December.
And if you want to do something good for your community, give our 5-minute-volunteering crafts at the Kindness in Action Station a go, or beautify our Community Christmas Tree!

Ngunguru Markets (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM): Immerse yourself in a world of market wonders as local artisans and vendors showcase their creations. From handmade crafts to delectable treats, there's something for everyone. While you explore, be sure to catch thrilling circus performances that will leave you in awe.
Youth Circus Workshops (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM):
For the young and the young at heart, we offer Youth Circus Workshops. Open to those aged 7-14 years from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 12-18 years from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Fire Spinning Safety Workshop (6:00 PM - 6:30 PM):
Enter the mesmerizing world of circus-inspired fire safety workshops. Master the art of safe fire handling and explore the precautions necessary for a captivating fire spinning performance.
Fire Spinning for Beginners (6:30 PM - 7:30 PM):
Uncover the enchantment of fire spinning! Join us as we kindle your fascination for this captivating art. Beginners are welcome, and our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way.
Fire Show (7:30 PM - 8:30 PM):
Prepare to be spellbound by an electrifying FIRE SHOW! Join us and be mesmerized by the flames as our talented performers put on a spectacular display. This portion of the event is by Koha donation, so come and show your support for the magic of fire spinning!

This event is proudly brought to you by the Lions Club of Whangarei and Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust who are event managing the event this year.
Circus will be at the Maunu School Annual Country Fair.
A place where friends, family and the wider Whangarei community come together to have fun in the sun. A day jam packed with lots of games, rides and performances to be seen. We will have our famous White Elephant, Cake Stall and loads of yummy food to be eaten. Come join us for a lovely day out.

For the first time The Aotearoa New Zealand Juggling & Circus Festival is heading to Dunedin. Three full days of workshops, shows and hanging out with new & old friends! The festival brings together some of the country's top jugglers & circus performers, whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, this festival is for you. We will have plenty of workshops for all abilities and ages, where we can introduce you to new skills or improve ones you might already have in your pocket. This is the event you don't want to miss!
