Circ.Us Youth Program

Circ.Us is a youth community for sharing knowledge and experience, making friends, and building leadership and circus skills.

Youth representatives meet to talk about ideas, plans and inspire each other to define the future of circus in Aotearoa.

We have a monthly meeting on Zoom, and a chat group on Signal for general planning. Some youth step up and take on leadership roles, or join the working groups (eg Social Media, Funding, Youth Circus Festival) to plan events and gatherings in more detail and this involves more online meetings.

Professional creatives support us, and collaborate on projects to ensure we are supported and able to realise our visions!

The aim is to have at least one Circ.Us Youth Representative in each circus space, program or region so we can all collaborate.
