Donating to us is a brilliant way to support our efforts in providing access to arts, community, and events across Northland. As a community circus we rely heavily on funding from grants to cover our operational costs, and donations are a way that we can improve our financial independence.
As a charity, all donations over $5 are tax deductable!
One-off donations go directly towards covering the ongoing operational costs required to run a circus space. This includes, but is not limited to our rent, purchasing / repairing props, travel expenses, and making sure our admin team have enough coffee to keep functioning. Things can add up fast and we appreciate your support!

If you want to directly benefit an individual, then Sponsoring a Child is the way to go. While we keep our prices as low as possible, some families still can’t afford the cost.
When you Sponsor a Child you are removing this barrier and gifting a full term of circus classes to a child in need.
Circus Kumarani provides low-cost circus skills classes across the Northland Region. We tailor our class prices to try to ensure that our classes are accessible, while still covering our operational costs. Sometimes this means that families simply can’t afford to send their kid to our circus classes.
While we do hold open circus jam nights in Whangarei and Dargaville, these spaces just aren’t the same as our focused circus classes.
Thankfully, you can help! Purchase a term of classes and we’ll gift it to one a youth who is on our waitlist.
