Circus Kumarani Training Program 2009

Circus is a great tool to bring skills and fun circus into your child's life.

Students develop in self esteem, creative expression, physical and motor skills, learn to take calculated risks  and

master the skills offered in a stimulating and safe environment.

Gift vouchers are ideal as presents for children and adults.

MONDAYS – 5 week blocks

3 – 5 pm Children/Youth “Equilibristic and Body Balance”

includes tumbling, hoop-diving, handstands, Globe walking, German Wheel and much more...

7 - 9 pm Adults “There is a Clown in everyone”

A blend of circus, dance, clown, character, theatre, drama and a whole lot of fun! Build
self-esteem, confidence, social skills and co-ordination

 

TUESDAYS- 5 week blocks

3 – 5 pm Children/Youth “There is a Clown in everyone”

A blend of circus, dance, clown, character, theatre, drama and a whole lot of fun! Build
self-esteem, confidence, social skills and co-ordination

7 - 9 pm Adults “Equilibristic and Body Balance”

WEDNESDAYS (term long course)

3 – 5 pm Children/Youth “Circus Mix”

discover the wonderful world of circus. The focus is on fun and exploration!
juggle, tumble, walk the tight rope, Hula Hoop, ideal for beginners and the more playful ones


THURSDAYS
– Performers & Advanced Classes

3 – 5 pm Children

Member only class, advanced students to work on upcoming next performances

5 - 6.30 pm Youth Circus 13+

Member only class, advanced students to
work on upcoming next performances - on stage and behind the scene stuff e.g.
costumes, music, script e
tc.


FRIDAYS- 5 week blocks

 
3 – 5 pm Children/Youth and 7 - 9 pm Adults
Object manipulation “Ball juggling & Tricks”, learn and master the art of juggling

all sorts of objects, incl. balls, clubs etc.; spin the diabolo and much more….


New! Annual Membership:

$100 individual, $200 family, $400 VIP (do it all, subject to availability)

Members receive a 50% discount on all classes and free entry to movie nights.

Members only can join the show rehearsals classes and in public performances

Members are involved with what goes on, help organise events, cabarets, socials and other fun circus stuff and can join the Operations Team. Learn to rig trapezes, sound engineering, lighting, event organising, working with children, working in the community, fundraising, marketing, admin, catering, costumes, makeup and so much more. Plus by volunteering you are actively supporting the charity and the good work we do.

FREE membership if a parent joins up as volunteer (ask us what’s involved)

Costs/Fees:

per 5 week Block $ 50 non-member/$ 25 member
per Term Class: $ 100 non-member/$ 50 member

The Fine Print : No classes run on public holidays· Payment for all classes must be made prior to start of the course · No refunds will be given once classes have started. All classes are subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants. If a class is cancelled or the dates altered for any reason you will be notified. Teachers may change due to their performance schedules. all classes are subject to availability and minimum participants.
